Palm Sunday - 29 March - 10.30 (Denholme Shared Church)

Come and join our United Benefice Service at Denholme Shared Church, when as a Benefice we join together to commemorate Palm Sunday, receive palm crosses and share Holy Communion together.

Holy Monday - 30 March - 19.30

We will holding a joint service at St John's with our Benefice churches as we enter Holy Week.  This will be a short reflective act of worship and you are welcome to come and join us

Maundy Thursday - 2 April - 19.00 to 22.00 (Denholme Shared Church)

We will be gathering as a Benefice at Denholme Shared Church to share an agape meal, take communion together and then to spend time in silent vigil as we reflect on the Passion of Jesus whilst he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane.  You are welcome to come for part of the evening or for all of the evening.

Good Friday - 3 April - 14.00 to 15.00 - The Final Hour at the Foot of Cross

A short service at St John's as we meet at the foot of the cross to share in prayer and reflection on the final hour of Christ's life.

Good Friday - 3 April - 18.30 - Tenebrae Service (St Matthew's Church, Wilsden)

A very poignant candle lit service shared with our Benefice churches at St Matthew's Church in Wilsden. Readings as each candle is extinguised ending the service in darkness.

Easter Day - 5 April - 06.30 am - Sunrise Easter Day Worship (Denholme Shared Church)

We gather outside Denholme Shared Church to welcome the sunrise on Easter Day, singing hymns and worshipping around a brazier.  We then share a breakfast together in the church hall and then share communion together.

Easter Day - 5th April - 09.30 - Easter Day Holy Communion - He is Risen, He is Risen Indeed
