• Bible Verse of the Day

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Launch of a New Men?s Group

A Christian Men?s Group for the Benefice of Harden, Wilsden, Denholme and
Cullingworth is being formed. ?The first meeting will be on Tuesday January 24th
and will be held at the George Hotel, Cullingworth at 7.30 pm.

The front room has been booked for a meal and a talk from the landlord Chris
about his beers and the Old Spot Brewery.

This will also give us the opportunity to meet over a meal and talk about how
we wish to progress.

Thank You…

Thank you to all those who helped us put on a lovely Carol service last night. Especially to the staff and students who came on a Sunday evening after the schools have closed for the holidays, it wouldn’t be the same without you. Thanks to choir members and Robert and Jasmin for your support too, and of course all the wonderful people who made up the congregation and filled the church so nicely! We wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Suzy invites you to use this prayer:-

God of Mission who alone brings growth to your Church, Send your Holy Spirit to give Vision to our planning, Wisdom to our actions, and power to our witness. Help our church to grow in numbers, in spiritual commitment to you, and in service to our local community, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
